THE Government committed no constitutional breaches when it came to the appointment of Stuart Young as Prime Minister, senior counsel Martin Daly has said.
There may be some concerns over the legitimacy of his appointment, but there was nothing unlawful about it, he stated yesterday.
Daly expressed these views during an interview on radio station i95.5 FM. He was asked if he believed the Opposition United National Congress (UNC) will follow through with its threat to petition the High Court to determine if the appointment was lawful.
