Carrie Edwards-Elsonās dreams of higher education may have been delayed by personal loss, childbirth and financial constraints, but they were never abandoned.
Now 49, she is rewriting her story as she enters her final year of university alongside her eldest son.
āI just decided that it is now or never because I realised I am not getting any younger,ā she said. āI know, if I waited too long, I am not going to do it.ā
