The Trinidad and To­ba­go In­ter-Is­land Trans­porta­tion Com­pa­ny Lim­it­ed (TTIT) says me­chan­i­cal prob­lems on the T&T Spir­it this morn­ing pre­vent­ed the ves­sel from va­cat­ing the berth at the Port of Spain Fer­ry Ter­mi­nal, caus­ing de­lays for pas­sen­gers aboard the Buc­coo Reef.

Now TTIT has can­celled to­day's sail­ings of the T&T Spir­it.

The Buc­coo Reef de­part­ed Scar­bor­ough at 6:30 a.m.. It was sched­uled to dock at 9:30 a.m. but re­mained ap­prox­i­mate­ly 1.6 kilo­me­tres off­shore as it wait­ed for the T&T Spir­it to clear the dock­ing ramp. The crew re­port­ed­ly re­solved the is­sue, and the berth was cleared by mid­day.
