President of the Rapidfire Kidz Foundation (RKF) Kevin Ratiram has called for xenophobia to be dispelled and for migrants to be embraced.

In his address during RKF’s annual dinner at Achievors Banquet Hall in San Fernando on Saturday, Ratiram also called for assistance with transportation for children of the La Romaine Migrant Support (LARMS) group to attend the learning centre.

Ratiram told the audience that to accommodate renovations, a new location was found for the centre. While a donation was made and work was being done by the Venezuelans at the new place, residents raised objections.
