TRINICITY/MALONEY MP Camille Robinson-Regis is publicly supporting former People's National Movement political leader Dr Keith Rowley, who said he never received an invitation to the party's 70th-anniversary celebrations in January.
Rowley, also former prime minister, said he was never invited, when asked about his absence while speaking with members of the media at a news conference at his Glencoe home on Tuesday.
The party responded that same day and said it extended an invitation to both Rowley and his wife, Sharon Clarke-Rowley, which was dated January 21. It further noted that the letter was hand-delivered to Rowley's home on January 22. The event was held on January 26 at the Winifred Atwell Auditorium, Queen's Hall.
