The Ministry of Education says it continues to monitor weather conditions across Trinidad and Tobago, with a focus on managing risks to school operations due to potential flooding.
In a release issued on Wednesday evening, the Education Ministry said it remains in close and continuous contact with both the Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service and the Ministry of Rural Development and Local Government to receive regular updates and advisories.
It said officials are paying particular attention to riverine levels and flood-prone areas. This coordinated approach allows the ministry to make timely, informed decisions to safeguard students, staff, and school communities.
