LOS ANGELES, United States (AFP) â Spider-Man: Brand New Day is still riding high in the North American box office, topping ticket sales for the fourth consecutive weekend in cinemas, but sharply down from last weekâs performance.
The superhero film fronted by Tom Holland and real-life wife Zendaya brought in $39 million, down 45 per cent on last weekendâs take.
The latest Marvel blockbuster, which had the biggest debut weekend of all time at the domestic box office, has now brought in $854.9 million in the United States and Canada since its July 31 release â and an additional $1.37 billion internationally â according to industry watcher Exhibitor Relations.
