CLARENDON, Jamaica — Four policemen assigned to the Manchester division were rushed to hospital Monday morning after the service vehicle they were travelling in overturned in a yard off the Nine Miles main road near Spalding in north western Clarendon.
Preliminary reports are that sometime after 5:00 am the police team was on patrol in the Spalding policing area when the vehicle veered off road and overturned. The crash resulted in the four policemen sustaining non-life-threatening injuries, the service vehicle being mangled and damage to a house.
The policemen were taken to the Percy Junor Hospital for treatment.
