Police have arrested 27 people and seized several guns, ammunition and drugs during state-of-emergency exercises across both islands over the last two days.
Twenty-two people were arrested for various offences in the Northern North Division during exercises on the evening of July 24.
Reports said that of those arrested, 11 people were arrested after a comprehensive search of a mosque and seven people were arrested for firearms and drug possession.
