Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar and Opposition Leader Pennelope Beckles are clashing over the Government’s plan to establish 30 joint police and army posts across the country.
Beckles is questioning the legality, funding and effectiveness of the initiative, while Persad-Bissessar is accusing the People’s National Movement (PNM) of standing in the way of efforts to dismantle the drug trade.
