Parts of North East Trinidad will have a dis­rup­tion in their wa­ter sup­ply this week­end as WASA car­ries out planned pipeline in­ter­con­nec­tion works along Rail­way Road, San­gre Grande. The ex­er­cise is as­so­ci­at­ed with the on­go­ing road ex­pan­sion project be­ing un­der­tak­en by the Min­istry of Works and In­fra­struc­ture.

An ad­vi­so­ry from the Wa­ter and Sew­er­age Au­thor­i­ty ex­plains those cus­tomers served by the North Oropouche Wa­ter Treat­ment Plant will have their ser­vice in­ter­rupt­ed from 9:00 am on Sat­ur­day 4th to 9:00 am on Sun­day 5th Oc­to­ber 2025.

Ar­eas to be af­fect­ed in­clude: San­gre Grande (Town), San­gre Chiq­ui­to, Man­zanil­la, Coalmine, Guaico/Guaico Tamana, Mal­abar Phas­es 1, 3 & 4, Tumpuna Road, San Rafael, Brazil, La Hor­quet­ta, Cara­po/O’Meara Road, Sig­na­ture Park/Mau­si­ca Road, Mal­oney Gar­dens, Five Rivers, Mil­len­ni­um Park, Sun­rise Park, Gold­en Grove Road.
