Six months afÂter the Counter TrafÂfickÂing Unit (CTU) launched OpÂerÂaÂtion PurÂple Ryain in Rio Claro, a third susÂpect has been charged in conÂnecÂtion with the onÂgoÂing inÂvesÂtiÂgaÂtion.
On MonÂday, 14 SepÂtemÂber, CTU ofÂfiÂcers arÂrestÂed 40-year-old SeÂmonne Mark of Rio Claro. Mark was forÂmalÂly charged yesÂterÂday with five ofÂfences unÂder the TrafÂfickÂing in PerÂsons Act, Chap. 12:10.
He faces four counts of trafÂfickÂing in perÂsons by harÂbourÂing, inÂvolvÂing three adults and one miÂnor, and one count of trafÂfickÂing in perÂsons by transÂportÂing a miÂnor.
