ST JOHN’S, Antigua (CMC):
All-rounder Justin Parris grabbed two awards, and Gadson Bowens captured another, as two-time champions Barbados took home the majority of individual awards in the recently concluded CWI Rising Stars Under-19 Men’s 50-over Championship.
Parris, who scored a match-winning century and also grabbed five wickets in Barbados’ 116-run win over Jamaica in the final on Wednesday, was named the tournament’s Most Valuable Player (MVP).
