The meeting provided an opportunity for an informative and constructive exchange on the electoral process, including GECOM’s consideration of recommendations made by observer missions following the September 2025 General and Regional Elections, the Delegation of the European Union said in a Facebook post. Discussions also focused on the Commission’s ongoing efforts and priorities to strengthen electoral processes and institutions, particularly in preparation for the next Local Government Elections.
