CAF ā DeĀvelĀopĀment Bank of Latin AmerĀiĀca and the Caribbean toĀday apĀproved a grant of BBD 450,000 (USD 225,000) to supĀport BarĀbaĀdosā hostĀing of CARĀIFESĀTA XV.
The fundĀing agreeĀment was signed at the CARĀIFESĀTA SecĀreĀtariĀat in Bridgetown by SenĀaĀtor Dr. the HoĀnĀourable ShanĀtal Munro-Knight, MinĀisĀter in the Prime MinĀisĀterās OfĀfice with reĀsponĀsiĀbilĀiĀty for culĀture, and Dr. StaĀcy Richards-Kennedy, CAFās ReĀgionĀal ManĀagĀer for the Caribbean and RepĀreĀsenĀtaĀtive in BarĀbaĀdos.
CARĀIFESĀTA reĀturns this year afĀter a six-year break caused by the COVID-19 panĀdemĀic. The ten-day fesĀtiĀval, themedĀ āCaribbean Roots. GlobĀal ExĀcelĀlence,ā is exĀpectĀed to atĀtract artists, perĀformĀers and delĀeĀgaĀtions from across the reĀgion and beĀyond.
