The Employers’ Consultative Association (ECA) has urged all stakeholders to recommit to tripartite dialogue, warning that a “business as usual” approach is unsustainable in the face of rapid change.
In its Labour Day 2025 message, the ECA pointed to a convergence of disruptive forces—climate change, economic instability, and technological transformation—as threats to both business continuity and worker stability. It said only meaningful dialogue could prevent rising industrial tensions and ensure labour law reform keeps pace with new realities.
It welcomed expressed commitments to revitalise NTAC and modernise legislation and called for collaboration to promote sustainable enterprises, reduce inequality, and enhance social protection.
