Police are investigating the murder of 21-year-old Nkosi Sinaswee, who was found shot to death on Thursday night near the Public Cemetery in Bank Village, Carapichaima.
At around 11:40p.m., police on mobile patrol duty received a wireless transmission alerting them to a shooting in the area. Officers from the Freeport Police Station arrived at the scene within minutes. They found the body of Sinaswee lying on the pavement with gunshot wounds about the body.
Sinaswee was last seen alive around 11:15 PM at his home on Waterloo Road before leaving to purchase food from the KFC outlet at St. Mary’s Junction.
