The 2025 executive elections of the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service Social and Welfare Association (TTPSSWA) have been halted by court order, following legal action brought by one of the contesting slates, Voices in Blue.
The injunctions were granted by Justice Frank Seepersad who heard an ex-parte matter in Chambers today, Monday.
Voting was scheduled to take place from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. today, but the team, led by Sergeant Wendell Warrick, secured an urgent interim injunction preventing the elections from proceeding.
