Taxi operators in Lower Broad Street are raising concerns over a pungent odour in the area.

The taxi drivers and their customers say the foul scent, which they believe is coming from a nearby gutter, has persisted for about four to five months and is affecting business.

They are calling on the relevant authorities to address the issue as a matter of urgency.
