The Trinidad and Tobago Coalition of Services Industries (TTCSI) has renewed its call for a balanced export economy by 2030, urging greater investment in the services sector as part of its “50-50 by 2030” vision.
TTCSI President Dianne Joseph said the initiative aims to create an export economy where non-energy services stand alongside the country’s energy sector.
She said the services industry, which accounts for about 60% of national GDP, is already the country’s primary engine of employment and has the talent, expertise and digital capabilities needed to drive economic diversification.
