MP Clyde Elder Spends Day With La Brea Postal Workers

Member of Parliament for La Brea, Clyde Elder, spent part of his day on Tuesday with postal workers in his constituency, noting that the visit was aimed at showing appreciation for the dedication and vital service provided by the workers, whose daily efforts help keep communities connected.

Residents collecting letters and bills had the opportunity to meet and interact with the MP, who is also Minister in the Ministry of Public Utilities, also visited the TTPost branch in La Brea to engage with staff and learn more about their daily operations.

“The point I was making is that because of you being so involved in the community, being such a regular face and figure in the community, then at some point in time this camaraderie builds between a postal worker and the community. Because as simple as you see these bills here, these bills are very important because people need to sometimes prove proof of address. You understand. You do business, and you need a bill, right?”
