Senior Superintendent Earl Elie has been officially appointed Assistant Commissioner of Police and will assume command of the Tobago Police Division on December 23.
He takes over the post previously held by ACP Oswain Subero, who proceeded on leave earlier this month. The division was temporarily led by ACP Michael Pierre during the transition.
Elie confirmed to Guardian Media yesterday that he has received formal notice of his promotion.
