Three people, including an 11-year-old girl, were shot during a drive-by shooting at Laventille Road yesterday, while they were standing near a man who police said had been held during the state of emergency and released yesterday.

The shooting took place at Village Council Street, Laventille Road, Laventille, last evening.

Based on initial information, the victims — the 11-year-old, a 40-year-old woman and a 20-year-old man — were all shot in their feet during the incident.
