‘Mammy’ shot dead in Dover bar in St Mary

ST MARY, Jamaica — The St Mary police have launched an investigation into the fatal shooting of a 57-year-old bar operator in Dover, St Mary on Monday.

The deceased has been identified as Marlene McCalla, otherwise called “Mammy” of a Dover district address.

Police reports are that around 7:00 pm on Monday, the deceased was inside her business place when she was approached by a man posing as a customer.
