(Kaieteur News) – ExxonMobil Guyana Limited (EMGL) has not responded to questions regarding the cost of its scheduled repairs to the Gas-to-Energy (GTE) pipeline, following a defect that was observed.
Over a week ago questions were sent to the company’s public relations department which merely acknowledged but provided no official response to the enquiries.
ExxonMobil has been extremely secretive regarding the price tag of the pipeline that it constructed to transport gas from the Liza Fields in the Stabroek Block to the Wales development site on the West Bank of Demerara where the resources will be used to generate electricity and Natural Gas Liquids (NGLs) for export and local use.
