World Athletics Under-20 Championships, Jayden Walcott finished outside the medals in the final of the men’s shot put last night.

Competing on the opening day in Eugene, Oregon, Walcott placed sixth with a best throw of 19.27 metres.

In the women’s 100 metres, Aniya Nurse did not qualify for the final after finishing sixth in the first semi-final in 11.58 seconds.
