As this coun­try grap­ples with one of the high­est brain drain rates in the re­gion, the Trin­ba­go Di­as­po­ra Out­reach Net­work (TDON) is tak­ing steps to re­con­nect na­tion­als abroad with the event, Home­com­ing 2025.

The three-day gath­er­ing, to be held from Oc­to­ber 17–19, will fo­cus on giv­ing back through the ‘Acts of Kind­ness Day,’ ho­n­our­ing 12 na­tion­als abroad at the Di­as­po­ra Pa­tri­ots Awards and Gala, and cel­e­brat­ing this coun­try’s cul­ture at the Di­vali Na­gar.

Na­tion­als liv­ing abroad, along with cit­i­zens at home, are be­ing en­cour­aged to re­con­nect with their home­land and chan­nel their skills, re­sources, and in­vest­ments in­to na­tion­al de­vel­op­ment.
