THE mother of Tobago’s latest murder victim, Kurt Bovell, says she forgives her son’s killer.

Beryl Bovell said she warned him about “being on the block”, but he did not listen. On Thursday night he became Tobago’s third murder victim for the year.

According to police, shortly after 10 p.m., while the 30-year-old victim was at a birthday lime on the streets of Patience Hill, a man wearing a hat walked up to him and shot him several times. The gunman then robbed another man of his gold chain before ­escaping on foot.
