Football fans, businesses, promoters and commercial establishments have been reminded that FIFA World Cup 2026 broadcasts in Trinidad and Tobago are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws and may only be accessed through authorised broadcast platforms.
In a release yesterday, Caribbean Premier Sports Ltd (CPSL)—operators of RUSH Sports and which holds the exclusive media and broadcast rights across much of the Caribbean for the World Cup—said RUSH Sports will provide comprehensive coverage of the World Cup, including all 104 matches of the tournament, through its licensed distribution partners providing extensive availability across television, IPTV, OTT and mobile platforms.
CPSL stated before the start of any commercial activity, sponsorship engagement, advertising, promotion, hospitality programme or ticket sales with respect to commercialised public viewing of matches outside a private residential setting, prior written authorisation from CPSL/RUSH Sports must be obtained.
