At just 14 years old, Josh G Char­bonne be­came the youngest off­shore power­boat dri­ver in his­to­ry, se­cur­ing first place in the 50mph Cruis­er Class last Sat­ur­day.

Char­bonne’s vic­to­ry is a mile­stone for the icon­ic off­shore event, which has long test­ed the en­durance and skill of some of the re­gion’s most sea­soned dri­vers. Com­pet­ing against ex­pe­ri­enced chal­lengers, the teenag­er demon­strat­ed ma­tu­ri­ty, com­po­sure, and tech­ni­cal abil­i­ty well be­yond his years.
