Opposition Leader Azruddin Mohamed has challenged US and Canadian authorities to meet with him, claiming he possesses information about Senior Superintendent of Police Prem Narine’s alleged connections within the US immigration system and an attempt to frame him for murder.
Speaking at a protest outside the Canadian embassy on Tuesday, Mohamed alleged that Narine had offered millions of dollars to former members of his staff to provide false testimony against him. He also claimed the senior police officer had offered assistance with obtaining US visas through alleged contacts within US Customs and Border Protection (CBP).
Mohamed said he was prepared to share the information with American authorities.
