THE Tobago House of Assembly (THA) is investing $27.2 million in the Community-Based Environmental Protection and Enhancement Programme (CEPEP) and the Unemployment Relief Programme (URP) despite both programmes being closed in Trinidad.
THA Secretary of Finance Petal-Ann Roberts made the disclosure during a post-Executive Council news conference on Wednesday at Mt Irvine Bay Resort. The announcement followed the Assembly’s two-day post-budget retreat to discuss fiscal 2026 allocations.
Roberts outlined plans to maintain and invest in CEPEP and URP, which have received additional funding.
