A 33-year-old Paria man was gunned down as he sat in his car in out­side his Gomez Trace home on Fri­day night.

Po­lice said Javed Omardeen was sit­ting in the dri­ver’s side seat of his white Hon­da Civic which was parked in his dri­ve­way at around 7.15 pm when he was shot sev­er­al times.

Res­i­dents heard the gun­shots and called the po­lice.
