Pre-sentence report ordered for indecent assault

A pre-sentence report has been ordered for Damarco Najae Morris after he admitted indecently assaulting a woman by touching her buttocks in her home on Monday.

Morris, 25, of Block 11A, Factory Avenue, Wildey, appeared before the No. 2 District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court and pleaded guilty to the offence.

Prosecutor Sergeant Kenmore Phillips told the court that the woman was in her kitchen around 1 p.m. when she heard someone shout her name. She responded, went to a window at the front of the house and saw Morris, who asked her for a cup of water. She gave him the water and returned to the kitchen to finish eating.
