Youth encouraged to take advantage of vocational training

Two hundred and seventy-two students are being encouraged to make the most of an opportunity to develop their skills and improve their future prospects.

Minister of State in the Office of the Prime Minister, with responsibility for Youth and Culture, Shane Archer, says technical training can help young people become self-sufficient, support their families and contribute to national development.

He says the benefits extend beyond individual students, as newly acquired skills can strengthen families, communities and the wider economy.
