A man is in police custody after allegedly being caught with cocaine in Fyzabad on Independence Day.
Around 11am on August 31st, officers attached to the South Western Division Task Force and the Fyzabad/Oropouche CID were on an anti-crime exercise along Solomon Street, Khan Trace, when they spotted a man acting suspiciously.
Police say the man changed direction after noticing their vehicles. Officers approached, identified themselves and conducted a search, allegedly finding 13.7 grammes of cocaine in his possession. He was arrested and the drugs seized. Investigations are ongoing.
