Police destroyed nearly 6 000 cannabis plants valued at more than $1.4 million during an operation across several St John communities on Saturday.According to a police report, members of the Special Operations Management Division conducted Operation Green Bay in Welch, Cliff Cottage, Bath Land and Colleton.During the operation, 5 968 cannabis plants, ranging from seedlings to eight feet in height, were eradicated.The plants had a total weight of 356.79 kilogrammes and an estimated value of $1 427 160.Police say no suspects were held during the operation.Investigations are continuing.
