Third cohort of BDF personnel deployed to Venezuela

The third cohort of personnel from the Barbados Defence Force’s Field Medical Hospital, as well as members of the Barbados Regiment, are off to earthquake-stricken Venezuela to assist with humanitarian efforts there.
They left the island this morning for the South American country, which is still picking up the pieces after being hit by two devastating earthquakes.
Commanding Officer of the Barbados Regiment, Lieutenant Colonel Julia Dabreo, was at the Grantley Adams International Airport to see the personnel off.
