Cops mum on suspects, motive in lawyer’s murder

Police have not yet established a motive for the killing of 53-year-old attorney Taradath Singh, who was shot dead shortly after leaving a gym in Charlieville on Tuesday evening.

Singh, of Penn Trace, Cunupia, was walking along the road near the Power House Gym, at the corner of Caroni Savannah Road and ASJA Avenue, when he was approached by a masked gunman about 6.25 p.m.

Investigators were told the gunman, who was dressed in a blue coverall, opened fire on Singh, hitting him several times.
