A 72-year-old Cunupia man accused of stabbing his police officer daughter while intoxicated has been ordered to undergo a psychiatric evaluation.
John Lewis, of Southern Main Road, Cunupia, was remanded to the St Ann’s Psychiatric Hospital for assessment when he appeared in court yesterday afternoon on a charge of attempted murder.
The charge arises from an incident at Lewis’s home on March 28, which he shares with his daughter, Khalia.
