(Kaieteur News) – The Ministry of Local Government and Regional Development is inviting bids for the construction of three more market facilities, this time at Soesdyke Junction on the East Bank of Demerara, and at Skeldon and Port Mourant in Region Six.
According to the advertisement, which was issued on Monday, construction of the Soesdyke market will be done in five lots, while the projects at Skeldon and Port Mourant will each comprise six lots.
Bids for the projects are expected to open on September 17, 2026, at the office of the National Procurement and Tender Administration Board (NPTAB).
