Almost 100 police officers and soldiers descended on the Sea Lots community yesterday in search of two gang leaders.
Instead, they found illegal electricity connections to almost 20 homes and almost two dozen mounted cameras, which police said they believe were being used to monitor officers on patrol and possibly drugs being brought to the area.
Police led an operation which began around 3 a.m. and concluded around 11.45 a.m., and which primarily targeted the Pioneer Drive and Production Avenue areas and was called “Operation Push Back”.
