LONDON, United Kingdom (AFP) — Four teenagers have drowned in lakes in England since Sunday amid a heatwave, police and local authorities said.
In Lincolnshire in northeast England, a teenage boy drowned Sunday, police said. Likewise, a teenage girl died in Warwickshire in central England on Monday, the council said.
Meanwhile, in Yorkshire in the northeast, one boy drowned in a reservoir Monday and another boy’s body was recovered early Tuesday at a country park, police said.
