The construction of new headquarters for the Elections and Boundaries Commission (EBC) is not about politics but a vehicle for the promotion of democracy in Trinidad and Tobago.
So said Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley at yesterday’s sod-turning ceremony at the construction site of the EBC’s headquarters on the corner of Lamy Street and Saddle Road in St Clair.
Also in attendance were Cabinet ministers Stuart Young, Colm Imbert, Rohan Sinanan and Foster Cummings.
