Old school furniture is being given a new lease on life through an initiative aimed at reducing waste while providing schools with a low-cost alternative.
Founder of Glastic Designs Interior Styles, Alicia Barrie George, said the company is passionate about minimising waste by using a material that offers several benefits at minimal cost, benefiting both schools and the environment.
She shared that what began as a social media post highlighting the refurbishment of school furniture using recycled plastic materials has now sparked wider public interest.
