Corentyne man hacked to death during family fued

(Kaieteur News) – A late-night family dispute on Monday has left a Friendship Village, Corentyne man dead following a chopping incident, with two persons now in police custody.

Dead is Chittesh Sukhai, called “Rohan” and “Marsho”, a 23-year-old labourer.

Police said Sukhai and a female relative were involved in an argument, after which several males reportedly arrived at the location armed with cutlasses. The incident occurred at around 11:40 p.m.
