A 47-year-old farmer was robbed of $100,000 after armed gunmen allegedly forced his vehicle off the road during a daring late-night robbery in St Catherine on Friday.
Reports are that at about 11:00 p.m. on July 17, the farmer was driving towards Barry District when, on reaching an area known as Eleven Miles, a Toyota Probox reportedly swerved into his path, forcing him to veer off the roadway.
Two armed men then reportedly jumped from the Probox, held up the farmer and robbed him of a bag containing approximately $100,000 before fleeing the scene in the vehicle.
