A large section of a mahogany tree fell today, damaging the same two houses in Kings Village, Holders Hill, St James, that were affected by falling branches about two months ago.
After the first incident, workers from the Department of Emergency Management trimmed the tree. However, residents feared the remaining portion would also fall.
One of the affected residents, Michael Gilkes, said he went to a shop and returned to find the tree had fallen on his house.
