MINISTER of Labour and Social Security Pearnel Charles Jr has encouraged senior citizens to continue embracing technology and lifelong learning, declaring that age should never be a barrier to acquiring new skills.
Charles was addressing the graduation ceremony for the Digital Literacy Programme for Senior Citizens, which saw 91 people successfully complete training designed to strengthen their ability to confidently navigate an increasingly digital world.
The programme was delivered through a partnership involving the National Council for Senior Citizens (NCSC), HEART/NSTA Trust, and the Universal Service Fund (USF).
