BQCF to support a more accessible education system

The development of the Barbados Qualifications and Credit Framework (BQCF) is being highlighted as an important step towards a more coherent and accessible education and training system.
Executive Director of the Barbados Accreditation Council, Lisa Gale, says the framework will complement accreditation, which provides assurance about the quality of the institutions and programmes delivering education and training.
Ms. Gale says this framework is especially important for countries like Barbados.
